Chicken and Bottle Gourd (krra thar nat buu thee)


Ingredients

  1. 1 Whole Chicken
  2. 1 Bottle Gourd
  3. 8 to 9 green chillies
  4. 5 cloves of garlic , 1 onion and ½ inch ginger
  5. 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  6. full teaspoon of masala powder
  7. ¾ teaspoon of oil

How to do?

  1. Cut chicken and bottle gourd into serving pieces.
  2. Mix together chillies, garlic, onion and ginger and pound into a coarse paste.
  3. Heat up the pot.
  4. Add the oil and sauté the paste and turmeric powder until raw smell is gone.
  5. Add the chopped chicken and masala powder.
  6. Add salt and chicken stock to taste.
  7. Pour your desired amount of water.
  8. Bring to a boil and add the chopped bottle gourd.
  9. Wait until the bottle gourd is softened.
  10.  Taste and adjust seasoning.
