Ingredients
- 1 kg Ray Fish
- 4 or 5 dried red chillies
- 1 shallot and 1 inch piece of ginger
- 1/3 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of shrimp paste
- A lump of tamarind (soak in water)
- A cup of coriander leaves
How to do?
- Cut Fish into serving size pieces
- Wash them and set aside.
- Blend chillies, shallot and ginger together into a paste.
- Put the fish pieces, chilli paste, turmeric powder, shrimp paste, salt in a pot.
- Pour water as you desired.
- Heat the pot and bring to a boil.
- Squeeze the soaked tamarind.
- Adjust salt, chicken stock and tamarind juice to taste
- Sprinkle coriander leaves
